Blog #14.  Winter 2022; The Grand Re-Opening

There are two major aspects of Vocalizing.  The first is PHYSICAL.  The combination of both deep breathing and intoning/humming/chanting as you exhale creates your own internal vibrational resonance.

Creating your own internal resonance enhances the body’s production of Nitric-Oxide in the lungs and Oxygen in the blood.  This helps expand and relax blood vessels, release stress, and lower or control blood pressure.  Nitric Oxide also helps prevent, mitigate, and contain toxins, contaminants, and virus infections like influenza and possibly the Coronavirus and mutations in the Lungs, Bronchial, and Sinus Systems. The resonance also stimulates, relaxes, and tones major nerves like the Vagus Nerve and relieves stress in the body.

The Second major aspect of Vocalizing is PSYCHOLOGICAL.  The more you open and strengthen your vocal system the more you relax and let go of your psychological resistance. apprehension, or even fear.

People think of Vocalizing as singing or speaking.  Vocalizing is not about performing or somehow impressing or inspiring others.  While it is a very good 1st step if you want to sing more easily and confidently. Vocalizing is about the WELL BEING that comes from regularly exercising your Vocal, Bronchial, and Respiratory systems.

Vocalizing is a great way to open, and/or close your regular workout routine.  Yoga, Running, Jogging, Walking, Swimming, cycling all involve breathing but not the use of or exercise of your Vocal System.

Opening and toning your Vocal and Respiratory Systems involves Chanting or Intoning sounds to specific musical notes in relation to each of the major body parts of your vocal system.  Regularly doing a simple, 5-minute vocal exercise program opens your Vocal, Bronchial, and Respiratory Systems, relaxes and helps fluidity in your Muscular – Skeletal Systems, opens your Chakras or Energy Systems, Enhances Oxygen in your blood flow, and Releases Stress.  A great contribution to your Physical, Mental, and Spiritual WELL BEING!
